The Isleworth community came together for its annual remembrance in a service led by Rev. David Maclure. A procession walked along North Street from Isleworth Green to Memorial Square, preceded by the police and a fire engine and led by a piper and drummer. Local primary and secondary schools participated, with their students wearing the sashes of some of the 390 WW1 servicemen listed on the newly restored Isleworth War memorial, a renovation project made possible through a grant from Thriving Communities, London Borough of Hounslow.
